Thank you so much @happiher.artistry for sharing your experience with the show. Thank you for the love, support and encouragement. What a beautiful piece you written. We love you 🙏❤️🥹. by @happiher.artistry

Today I am 50.

If I could speak to my younger self, I’d tell her not to rush.
To take things at face value, to hug more, to receive without guilt,
to breathe and just be.
You’ve done incredible work inside and out.
And yes, you’ve made mistakes, but you learned. You grew. You rose.

This isn’t about being a mother, a nurse, or a title.
It’s about being a human
having the full, messy, beautiful experience of life.
Fifty years of wisdom. Fifty years of sight, sound, love, and awakening.
Fifty years of knowing myself and meeting others soul-first.

I didn’t always imagine being here
but now that I am, it feels sacred.
Soft. Sultry. Healthy.
In my body, in my balance, in my peace.
When I was younger, I knew I didn’t want the kind of 50 I saw around me.
I wanted health. I wanted joy. I wanted equilibrium.
And somehow… I found it.

So here I am 50 and fully alive.
Happy Birthday to me.
May I always walk in love, in magic, and in my truth. ✨

📿 9:41 A Divine Time Check-In

When I caught 9:41 on the clock… I knew it wasn’t random.

9 ➤ completion
4 ➤ foundation
1 ➤ new beginning

✨ Together = Aligned Change
The kind that’s earned through healing, building, and finally stepping into your power.

I’ve been feeling this shift in my womb, my business, my home, and my faith.
It’s not always easy, it’s real and it’s mine.

This is for the woman evolving with grace.
The one closing old chapters, building her empire, and birthing a new self.

Let this be your sign that you’re on divine time.
Trust the pivot. Trust the glow.

I call my power back from every place I once over functioned, over gave, or over hoped.
I am already chosen by Source, by purpose, and by my own damn self.

Distraction is not desire. I only attract what’s rooted, sacred, and ready.

I am not falling into old patterns
I am observing them and walking forward anyway.
That’s real transformation. 🪐

I’m not chasing attention.
I’m attracting alignment.
No distractions, no detours. Just forward. Just me.
And baby, the best?
Oh, it hasn’t even started yet.

KD walked.
She didn’t hustle. She didn’t chase.
She walked.

This isn’t a post about how proud I am.
That’s obvious. Kylie 💕has always been brilliant & determined, focused, sharp.
She was always going to do this. College wasn’t a maybe.
Degrees already live in our bloodline.
Her sister Jade did it. I did it. My mother attended Teachers College in NYC.. My sisters did it too. The bar was set.

But this time … 🥹🤧it was different.

Kylie walked in ease.
She walked in choice.
She walked in belonging.
Not survival.
Not exhaustion.
Not with trauma in her back pocket.

She magnetized it. She built sisterhood, community, experiences she won’t fully understand until life hands her the wisdom.
She walked because she belonged there.
No one had to prepare her .. she walked
That alone broke a cycle.

I watched her cap on, shoulders back, name called. She walked.
And I saw every woman that came before her.

Flerida Almonte my abuela

4’11, Dominicana, dark-skinned, didn’t speak the language
Sewing piece work in a warehouse off 181st in the Heights in the ‘80s.
Calling it “P-SW-A”
Raising daughters, granddaughters, legacy…
without ever knowing this is what it would look like.

She paved the way in the late ‘60s.
And Kylie walked 👠👠

This is not just a degree.
It’s a manifestation.
Of ease. Of joy. Of answered prayers I didn’t even know I whispered 🙏🏽
I never allowed myself to feel this kind of joy through motherhood. But today 💕I do.

Shoutout to the TRIBE The aunties, the uncles, the siblings, the besties, the sorority sisters, the comida 🤤🍛the brunch, the pernil (gracias Tia @peacelily81 & @la_dama_del_pernil ), pastelitos de queso, that high-end designer cake baked by her day one(s) !! & her BF Keanu
Y’all showed up and poured in.

We celebrated Kylie because she is celebration

The Seed Was Planted 🌱

Every Glow has an origin story. “Hydra & Glow” was born from a calling.
A whisper in my spirit to blend healing with beauty, science with sensuality.

Hi tribe👋 I am Sandy J, a registered nurse with 20+ years of clinical experience and deep devotion to feminine vitality, cellular regeneration, and inner alchemy of wellness.

After years at the bedside & working within the community in NY & NJ, I realized women were glowing for everyone but themselves. I created Hydra & Glow IV Med Pod as a sanctuary. A space where hydration is holy, beauty begins within, and wellness is ritual.

This is more than a movement .
Welcome to the beginning .
Let’s glow 🌟

Under the Pink Libra full moon energy
My daughter, Miss Dominican Republic, soared.
Honor student. Artist. Butterfly.
She doesn’t just wear the crown—she fixes it when needed.
Brains, beauty, and brilliance.
She didn’t win the pageant, but she won every moment.
Always reinventing, always radiating.
A star, just like Rafael Hernández for his adoraba Quisquella wrote:
“La estrella solitaria que alumbra mi vida y que brinda su luz” ✨🇩🇴

This is for her. My KD💋
My Quisqueya.
My Dominican butterfly.
So fly.

Last Sunday was one of those “drop everything, go be who you are” kind of days. ✨
Oscar (@omontesdeoca), my Pisces visionary brother, called with his usual magic wand and chaos combo. “Jaquez, I need you.”
🪄
3 hours before the stores close. 😅
Next day I show up at the set style the artist @edd_grand (gracious, already fly & easy on the eyes and the fits).
The executive? NYC, clean lines, quiet power.

Oscar is Charlie, I’m one of his Angels.
Money moves, flights booked, vibes roll.
And just like that 🪄stylist one day, nurse the next.

I’m academic & creative.
Science & soul.
Mother and other.
Scorpio.
Light isn’t always for everyone especially when it flickers between worlds.

But when it’s time, I show up.

The power of love, music, and dance medicine for the soul. I welcomed the Astrological New Year with Cleo Sol at Radio City Music Hall on a solo date, a practice I’ve embraced since realizing I am the woman I love to date. Being with me feels like home now. The night was high-vibrational, sacred even — not just because of the music, but because I hadn’t seen so many beautiful people of melanin, showing off their style, their light, and their joy all in one space since Essence Festival in NOLA. I felt held, seen, and reminded that we are magic always.

✨ The Gregorian Calendar’s New Year is here, and while my personal New Year doesn’t begin until April (hello, Aries season and the astrological new year 🔥), I’m taking a moment to celebrate the NOW.

2024 was a wild ride good, bad, and transformative. More good than bad, though, and for that, I’m incredibly blessed. Family, friends, my dog, and this tribe you all hold me down and lift me up.

Surround yourself with people who vibrate high on love and intention. Create magic, even in the mundane. Dance. Cry. Laugh. Manifest. The portal to a higher frequency is open, and I’m stepping through it with gratitude and boldness.

Here’s to us. Here’s to the now. 🌟
