In boxing your legs will carey you and determine the end results !!! You have to be able to train them so they obey YOU when you need them !!!! Do you train them the right way ? Here are 3 factors you need to do !!!! MAX STRENGTH — How much force can you produce? We train heavy loads to build the athlete’s maximum force capacity. This is the foundation—the size of the engine. 2. RATE OF FORCE DEVELOPMENT — How fast can you access that strength? Being strong isn’t enough in sport. You need to produce force FAST. Rate of Force Development (RFD) measures how rapidly force rises after you initiate a movement. Research shows that the early phase of explosive force production is heavily influenced by rapid neural activation and motor-unit firing. 3. REACTIVE STRENGTH — How well can you absorb force and immediately redirect it? Now we take it another step. The athlete has to receive force, control it, and rapidly reverse or redirect it.
