Who doesn’t have the video of their kid snoring like a little old man 🤷🏼‍♀️ meanwhile I’m over here watching a tiny airway work way too hard 💤 turns out that cute little snore is just a space problem, and the space is still growing while they’re little, so there’s actually real stuff that helps 👇🏼

Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” One of the greatest disciplines of the Christian life is learning to seek God before making our plans rather than asking Him to bless decisions we have already made. God sees what we cannot see. He knows what awaits us later today, what conversations will matter, which opportunities are right, and which circumstances may require us to change direction.

Walking with God requires sensitivity and obedience. Sometimes His guidance will confirm our plans, and sometimes it will interrupt them. We must be willing to listen in either case. A delay may be His protection. An unexpected change may be His direction. A quiet conviction may keep us from a decision we would later regret. When we begin the day surrendered to Him, we can move forward confidently because our security is not found in having a perfect schedule. It is found in following a perfect God.
