I honestly don't even know how to explain this book.
For the first half I kept wondering, "Where is this even going?" Then the ending completely changed how I looked at everything I had read.

This book made me question identity, social media, belonging, and what it really means to be happy. Unexpected, unsettling, and honestly, kind of heartbreaking.

Have you read Yesteryear?

Yep, I finished it a couple of weeks ago and I'm still not sure what I think about it. At first, I thought it was clever how the author made the mc really unlikeable so it wasn't too gruelling to see her suffer. But then, at the end, she became so horrifically unlikeable that I didn't care what happened to her. And I'm still not sure I buy the twist, even though it was genuinely creative. I guess, it was clever, but I feel like something was missing.

I’ve read it and I still don’t know what I think lol. It’s a book I’ve recommended to everybody, but I don’t really know why lol
