Today it’s my last day as 22 years old!
For some reason, it doesn’t feel strange to tell myself I’m 23 now; it feels easier and more right.
But before that, I want to thank the 22-year-old version of myself for all the experiences she went through and the choices she made.
I embrace every decision I made at that age and have no regrets, because I became who I am thanks to all of them—the spot-on choices and the ones that were less so. I simply want to thank my family and friends who supported me throughout the year—I am who I am because of them.
Thank you to the universe for supporting me all along the way, to the teddy bear in my room that I hug every single night, and to every anchor I created to hold me up during the tough days.
Thank you for the opportunity to live life—to truly live it, not just go through the motions.
