Today I am 23!

Who would have thought I’d reach this age today? Of course
I believed and hoped I would, but when we’re so busy doing and moving, it’s easy to forget that we’re growing up along the way.

This past year, I felt that growth more intensely than ever, in every single aspect of my life. Yet, there’s one thing I felt I didn’t take enough time to notice—the fact that time keeps moving, another year passes, and not every dream comes to life on the exact timeline we imagined.

I’ve realized that life is always in motion. I can either fight and swim against the current, or choose to flow with it, keep creating, and see what new worlds I can build for myself.

All those big questions about what to build this year, which goals to chase intensely and which ones to leave for later—I’ll reflect on and answer in my journal over the next few days.

But today? Today there is only one thing I am 100% sure of:

I am 23, and I am going to enjoy every single moment of it✨

Today it’s my last day as 22 years old!

For some reason, it doesn’t feel strange to tell myself I’m 23 now; it feels easier and more right.

But before that, I want to thank the 22-year-old version of myself for all the experiences she went through and the choices she made.

I embrace every decision I made at that age and have no regrets, because I became who I am thanks to all of them—the spot-on choices and the ones that were less so. I simply want to thank my family and friends who supported me throughout the year—I am who I am because of them.

Thank you to the universe for supporting me all along the way, to the teddy bear in my room that I hug every single night, and to every anchor I created to hold me up during the tough days.

Thank you for the opportunity to live life—to truly live it, not just go through the motions.

#22 #23 #birthday #lifeisgood by @milana__jay

Just this morning, I found myself crying over failed plans, struggling to save for New Zealand, and feeling like nothing was clicking.

But then I paused and realized how much abundance is already around me—an incredible new friend, a loving family, becoming an aunt to a sweet baby girl, having the ocean right next to me to surf, and the unique gifts I have to offer the world.

I realized I no longer want to force outcomes or let my savings define my daily life. True faith isn’t assuming “everything will turn out fine,” but choosing to keep taking aligned action, listening to my body, and staying fully present in the journey. Money is just a by-product; I want to enjoy every piece of who I am and truly embrace life right now.

Wishing us all a beautiful year ahead—whether you’re celebrating a fresh start or just reading this at the exact moment you needed to. Life has its own rhythm, and instead of trying to control it, I’m choosing to flow with it, because the surprises along the way are always the best part. ✨
