a month agoHey beautiful human. I met you long ago from at the con, you taught me for a little bit. I'll never forget it. I was late diagnosed 2 year now. When I had Vyvanse the first time I had a thought that made it all the way to its completion! I physically felt the intrusive thoughts attempt to overtake yet they didn't! A couple years in now and yes the medication still works yet I still have to take care of myself too. Plus yeah Peri menopause lol. Yess 1000 percent to all you said. I m learning more about who I actually am, so much undoing what ive been told and believed about myself. Keep on the journey and thank you for sharing. You are an awesome and inspiring woman/human 🔥
a month agoOh baby. I haven’t been formally diagnosed but my kids all tell me I’m definitely ADHD. We have a few spicy members of the family so the research has been done! But it does explain so much. I have always felt that sense of what you put so perfectly… “Showing up having done all the work, giving you all, but still not quite there – viewed as hopeless… Especially by those closest to you” which is really sad so I understand exactly where you’re coming from. I would never in 1 million years think of you as hopeless – I’ve always thought you are incredible person, so gifted, so loving, so insightful and so proactive in so many ways. Lots of “so’s” there so I’ll stop! You are a remarkable person. Thanks for sharing this. I’m going to share it with my beautiful son. It goes through exactly the same thing. Xxx
a month agoThank you!!!! Love you!!!! So so familiar with these feelings and the weight of carrying such similar thoughts. Basically a replica to my internal landscape. Really so grateful for your share. In only the way you do - beautiful honest, poetic and unapologetic. You are one of the richest most together non hopeless characters I’ve ever met would never have even caught a glimmer of your in internal landscape. The remarkable strength of a woman!! Would love to hear more about your journey, it’s already so supportive 🙏🏾🤎
