I’ve always loved to create. painting. drawing. becoming so absorbed in one thing that you lose your sense of yourself and of time. that’s how I feel when I’m creating.
admittedly, I’ve never been especially skilled. I took a few art classes in college, but never really expanded my practice beyond that. I’ve gone through phases of feeling very inspired and motivated. Wanting to get better. My kids aren’t an excuse, but if you’re a mom of multiple children, you know how easily you can place your creative outlets on the back burner… so here’s to today. Rekindling my love for creating, and hoping to have some accountability with sharpening my skills.
