Our Stories, Our Pride, Our Impact!
Our heritage shapes how we lead, serve, mentor, and show up for others.
Throughout Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond, LEA is celebrating the stories of Latinx/Hispanic professionals in athletics and the ways they bring their cultura, experiences, and perspectives into the workplace.
Meet Charlenne Medina, Head Athletic Trainer at Santa Monica College, and hear how her heritage, bilingualism, and lived experiences shape the way she supports her student-athletes.
Because representation matters. Our stories matter. And there is a place for us in athletics.
