So excited to finally reveal the book cover for my debut poetry collection, “Bearings of My Beloved.” Painted by the beautifully talented Kariyana B., this painting follows the journey of the book and the intertwined stories of both the generations before me and those to come.

Kari, girl, we were literal little girls together (as awkward and curious as we wanted to be). If you would’ve told either of us in middle school that one would write and publish a book and the other would be the one to paint the book cover, we wouldn’t have believed it. The beautiful things God has done and will continue to do with us will create such a lasting legacy. I gave this book life, but you gave her a face. I am eternally grateful. 🥹

We are officially a week from September 25th, the book’s official release date, which is crazy because I remember when this was on my spirit in the form of a small mustard seed.
