This is such a cute, cozy Romantasy read. I’m so grateful for this ARC and I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series 😍😍
The magic, the social dynamics, and the way the world is built were probably my favourite parts of the book. I really enjoyed Cassia and Ark’s relationship and their cute romance. Even though things develop fairly quickly, but I can totally see why. I really enjoyed Ark character development and I hope to see more of the side characters in the upcoming books. I can see that there is more to the story.
I liked that Cassia wasn’t written as a character who simply needs to be “saved.” She has her own perspective, struggles, and understanding of the world, and she challenges Ark in ways that force him to think differently. I liked that the story doesn’t make the romance completely separate from the larger social issues.
This is for who love slow-burn cozy-romantasy with character development, an intriguing magical world. Thanks to Enola for this beautiful book. Can’t wait for the next one ♥️
