Four men were arrested in connection with the February shooting of 49ers defensive end Keion White. The shooting happened just after four a.m. on February ninth at Dahlia’s Lounge on the seventeen hundred block of Mission Street in San Francisco, hours after Super Bowl weekend. Police say a verbal dispute broke out between two groups before gunfire erupted, and White was hit in the ankle. He had surgery, recovered, and is playing this season. All four suspects were hit with no-bail warrants as part of SFPD’s Operation D-Line — over fifty search warrants and more than two hundred fifty officers nationwide. Marquis Davis, thirty-eight, also known as 4PF Poppy, was arrested October seventh at his home in Atlanta on an SFPD warrant. During searches, police seized an illegal firearm, three thousand eight hundred forty-two grams of f nt, one thousand twenty-six grams of m th, nine hundred seventy-nine grams of c ke, eight hundred twenty grams of m lly, and fifty-nine pounds of m rijuana. Georgia also charged him with trafficking, gang-related offenses, and felony gun possession. Antoine Washington, thirty-six, was arrested the same day in Stockton by SFPD and San Joaquin County deputies. They recovered a loaded firearm and over one hundred twenty o ycodone pills. Curtis Green, thirty-five, was arrested in Irvine that same day and charged with brandishing a firearm — misdemeanors, so he was released. Gregory Walker, thirty-six, of Mountain House, was arrested October ninth in Los Angeles. He’s the one prosecutors say fired the shot that hit White. He’s charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm, personally discharging it and inflicting great bodily injury, plus multiple felon-in-possession counts. SF DA Brooke Jenkins is seeking to hold him without bail, calling him a public safety risk. Davis and Washington are being extradited to San Francisco. Police have not said whether Lil Baby himself is a suspect, though authorities have long tied him to 4PF and a RICO investigation that was expected but never dropped.
