I’m truly overjoyed to be back on the VS. It feels almost surreal, yet deeply familiar—like returning home. The moment I saw the wings, my heart nearly gave out from pure happiness. There are simply no words that can fully capture how overwhelmed and elated I feel right now.🥹 thank you so much for having me at the show @adamselman @carlynecerfdedudzeele @piergiorgio 💝 I LOVE YOU!!!
“Please uninstall app if you don’t agree.” That’s the message Dexcom showed people who depend on its app to see their glucose readings. Dexcom has since clarified that users can opt out of certain provisions, including arbitration, by emailing its legal department—and continue using the app. Then why wasn’t that choice clear in the original notification? Someone opening their app because they feel low should not have to decipher a legal agreement before seeing their blood sugar. Managing diabetes already asks enough of us. Dexcom: explain the changes clearly, make applicable opt-outs easy to find within the app, and keep glucose readings accessible while people review their choices. This needs to be corrected now. Patient safety comes first. #Dexcom #DexcomG7 #Type1Diabetes #PatientSafety #DiabetesNerd
