The Grenada Solid Waste Management Authority (GSWMA) has launched a new Glass Pulveriser System at the Queen’s Park Recycling Facility.
This important investment, commissioned by the Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association -
@ghtaorg through its Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF), in collaboration with GSWMA, represents a significant step towards strengthening glass recycling and supporting more sustainable waste management practices across Grenada. ♻
The new system will assist in transforming discarded glass into reusable material, helping to reduce the challenges associated with improper glass disposal while contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
At the end of the short ceremony, attendees witnessed a live demonstration of the Glass Pulveriser System in operation. ⚙️
This initiative demonstrates what can be achieved through collaboration between the tourism industry, government agencies, and environmental stakeholders as we work together to advance sustainable waste management in Grenada.
🌱 Together, we can turn waste into opportunity and build a more sustainable Grenada.
