“This year will be an adventure with God.”
September 2nd marked 10 years of marriage for Emmanuel and I. We celebrated our anniversary on the amalfi coast, which is one of the most beautiful places we have ever experienced.
“There will be acts of dedication this year. The Lord says: “Rededicate.””
What made this trip so special is that we renewed our vows and marriage back to the Lord. How I can describe this moment was holy. We felt Gods presence and His pleasure.
“What’s dedicated to God will become ‘qodesh’–– It will be His. It will be holy,
it will be His place.”
Tears rolled down our faces as we exchanged vows, repenting to each other, and recommitting ourselves to God and to one another.
“OPPRESSION, GO in Jesus’ Name!”
Our story is a testimony of the mercy of God. I was unfaithful in our marriage, Emmanuel did not know how to lead, trust was broken in with each other. Our first five years of marriage was a wreck. Yet God was so kind and faithful. The last 5 years are the healthiest we’ve ever been in our marriage, bodies, heart, mind, and spirit.
“The God of angel armies fights with us this year!”
“The hedge of protection …. will rise as we go lower in humility and biblical submission.”
We felt the Lord fight for us, refining us, and strengthening us as we went low to serve one another, and choose one another, and put each other first. The Lord is so good and our lives are a reflection of HIS goodness
10 years down, forever to go!

Very few do the “hold” part of the marriage vows - to have and to hold. Having is easy, holding is much harder but so worth it. Thank you for choosing LIFE in your marriage, love y’all, proud of you both. ♥️
