Don’t fall in love with the man onstage, “I’ll be on in a minute, i’m just sharpening my blade”

35 DAYS until I step onto a bikini fitness competition stage 🍑🙈 and I still have around 18kg I’d ultimately like to lose.

I started this 165 days out, 30kg overweight.

I’m a mum of two. And for YEARS I’ve said: “I’m going to lose the weight.” And I HAVE lost it before.

Quite a few times actually

But I always ended up putting it back on.

Because I’d lose the weight, celebrate being finished with my diet, and then go straight back to living exactly how I did before.

I didn’t change my habits, relationship with food or get rid of the excuses.

And then wonder why I ended up back where I started.

What if instead of trying to lose 30kg, I focused on becoming the woman who naturally lives 30kg lighter?

The woman who enjoys walking, Who strength trains, Who eats her protein and whole foods, Who doesn’t need to spend every evening on the sofa eating crap.

Who actually ENJOYS looking after herself.

Because I don’t want to spend the rest of my life fighting myself to stay a certain size.

I want these things to become so normal that I don’t even think about them anymore.

Like brushing my teeth.

And I’m starting to feel that happening.

34 days left.

Am I going to look how I imagined on that stage?

I genuinely don’t know 😂

But I’m not going back to the woman who started this 131 days ago.

Because the goal was never really to finish another diet.

It was to NEVER NEED ANOTHER ONE.

Follow along because we’ve still got 34 days to see what happens 🍑🙈

~ The Rifle of a Western Contractor in Haiti

Today’s post features this image that was posted earlier today by a Haitian individual affiliated with a specialised police unit who can be seen posing with a rather distinctive rifle that clearly belongs to a foreigner contracting in Haiti.

This particular rifle appears to be a Specters Cat CACM 6ARC rifle (or something similar) rocking a DuraMag as well as what appears to be a Specters Cat suppressor, likely an undesignated model. Additionally, the rifle is fitted with a Vortex 1-10X Eleanor Scope as well as an Aimpoint ACRO RDS and B5 Bravo stock.

Foreign private military companies are operating in Haiti because of the country’s severe security crisis, widespread gang violence, political instability and the weakness of its national police.

The Haitian government has turned to foreign security contractors, including the American based Vectus Global, led by Erik Prince, to support anti-gang operations through armed drones, helicopters and other tactical capabilities. Their involvement aims to restore security, protect civilians and key infrastructure, and strengthen the government’s control.
