Pregnancy, motherhood, & children are an all encompassing transformation and it should be one…that shouldn’t just happen on “the mother.” The partner, the family, the friends, the community. Raising children is a COMMUNAL thing. So the least everyone else can do, while a mother is transforming on a level no one else is, is transform in their own way right alongside her. Then maybe it won’t feel as isolating.

The moment came during the 2016 Hungarian Grand Prix press conference when the drivers were asked what primary road car they had back home.

Sergio Pérez answered with a Ferrari 458, Marcus Ericsson said Porsche Panamera, Felipe Massa listed a LaFerrari and F40, and Nico Rosberg named a Mercedes 280SL Pagoda.

Gen Z has turned walking into a whole lifestyle, and they’ve even given it a name: walkmaxxing.

For a lot of young people, fitness is less about looks and more about clearing their heads, getting off their phones and building habits they can actually stick to.

It’s social too, with walk clubs becoming a new way to meet friends and even potential partners, and 66% of Gen Z fitness group members said in a 2024 survey that they’d made new friends through one.

Apps like Steppa add another layer, letting users bet on themselves to hit daily step goals and earn cash for staying consistent. The idea is simple: put money into a shared pot, hit your steps every day, and split the winnings with everyone else who makes it to the end.

And whether you win the pot or not, every step still counts toward your health. A 2025 study in The Lancet Public Health found that walking 7,000 steps a day was linked to a 47% lower risk of early mortality compared to 2,000 steps, with no gym membership or special equipment required. #SteppaPartner
