I always put off wearing this jacket. And then suddenly it’s winter. And this is not a winter jacket.
So today, I’m wearing it. The weather is cooling off. But it’s sunny, and a perfect day for a leather jacket.

I saw it in a store on Michigan Ave, in Chicago, on a frigid day in December.
It was beautifully on sale!
I bought it.
My sister-in-law made me do it…so see the last picture. She took that picture the day I bought the jacket. Beyond cold winter in evening in gorgeous Chicago!
.
It’s Thursday. Practically the weekend in my book.
Remember to wear your leather before it’s too cold! I don’t know about you, but some years this little jacket doesn’t make it out of the closet.
Leather…fussy about weather!

Today was the most eventful day in College Football History.

If you had a wedding to attend today, I’m so terribly sorry.

WHAT IS BETTER THAN COLLEGE FOOTBALL?! Today was absolute madness from start to finish, with some of the biggest programs in the country going down on the same Saturday. No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 5 Indiana, No. 6 Alabama, No. 7 Texas, No. 13 Missouri, No. 16 Mississippi State, and No. 18 Oklahoma State all suffered losses. This is the kind of chaos that makes college football the greatest sport in the world. Rankings were getting destroyed, playoff hopes were taking massive hits, and nobody was safe.

The craziest part about college football is that absolutely nothing is guaranteed. You can enter a Saturday looking like a national championship favorite and leave wondering if your entire season is falling apart. Georgia losing to Auburn, Alabama falling to Tennessee, and Notre Dame getting taken down by BYU showed exactly why you can never overlook anybody. Every single week feels like a playoff game, and one bad performance can change everything.

THIS IS WHY WE LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL. The upsets, the rivalries, the packed stadiums, the fans storming the field, and the absolute unpredictability make Saturdays special. You simply cannot script this kind of entertainment. Just when you think you have the entire season figured out, college football reminds everyone that anything can happen. There is genuinely nothing better than waking up on a Saturday knowing the entire college football world could be turned upside down by midnight.
