I have never felt more understood 😂 Starting to think that maybe being a loner and an introvert is really my superpower, if only I would accept it… Realizing more & more that it might be time to step into my f*ck around and find out era because this guarded, masked life really tried to take me down. And honestly, what’s more freeing then putting down the walls and just being who the f*ck you are… Obviously easier said than done because I’ve been wearing this mask for so long that sometimes I can’t tell the difference between me or the version I created... **And I’m thankful for her because she protected me and got me this far, but we are done here** So to everyone that is continuing to put in the work to get to know themselves and evolve, I see you and I feel you. It’s f*cking haaaard but is there really any other option? 🫶

Sweden is already miles ahead when it comes to paid parental leave and child care. Parents can transfer a portion of their paid parental leave benefits to grandparents who step in to help during those early days and months, under a law that went into effect in 2024. Swedish parents are entitled to 480 days of paid parental leave per child. The law allows them to transfer 45 days of that leave to a grandparent, or 90 days if you’re a single parent. Not to mention, studies show that children can benefit from having grandparents involved in their upbringing. After all, it takes a village! Oxford University and the Institute of Education found that the emotional support grandparents give to children can play an important role in their well-being. Share the responsibilities. Share the benefits. Bravo, Sweden 👏
