Mountain View Farm

As the earth prepares itself for a winter rest, we allow our birds the same. Hens get a reprive from the testosterone, daylight hours in the coop decrease to mimic the natural sun, protein gets bumped up in feed to support their molt, and they get extra time outside free-ranging our 5 acres before everything is cold and snowy.

Every year we continue to find ways to make our farm run more smoothly, and I'm so excited to see what next year brings us.
