Writing advice: Put the manuscript away for a while. Work on something else. Me: Absolutely. Great idea. I’ll definitely do that. Also me: spends several days drawing tiny whimsical chapter icons because apparently I’m my books number one fan-artist. At this point, I want to pour as much love and care into the little details as I can. The words. The art. The world. The tiny things you might only notice on your second read. I’ve fought awfully hard for these witches to have their space on a bookshelf. I just want it to feel special when it finally reaches you. ✨🧡🌿 Because everyone who is burnout, isolated, and exhausted deserves little moments of laughter and levity to fill their cups. #debutnovel #writingcommunityofinstagram #witchybooks #authorillustrator #bookstagram Keywords: cozy fantasy, fantasy readers, comedic fantasy, witchy drawing, whimsical, illustrated fantasy, book illustration, book reels, motherhood in fiction, postpartum, creative process, author journey. .
