On October 3, we officially opened Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley in New York City, and to say I’m proud of our team would be an understatement.

The 125+ New Yorkers we now proudly call teammates have shown tremendous heart, dedication, and a genuine understanding of what it means to Welcome Home every guest who walks through our doors.

Those two words, Welcome Home, mean everything to us. They represent our belief that every guest deserves to feel a sense of belonging, comfort, and love. This isn’t just our restaurant. It’s your restaurant home.

Opening a restaurant is never easy. Like people, businesses are imperfect. Training, service, food preparation, and hospitality all come with challenges. But what makes the difference is having a team of individuals with genuine hearts who understand that every guest should be cared for as though they were their own mother, father, husband, wife, child, or someone they deeply love.

We understand that some guests come to celebrate life’s greatest moments, while others come seeking a little refuge from life’s most difficult ones. Regardless of what brings you through our doors, our responsibility remains the same: to make you feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

To everyone who has supported us in New York and across the country, thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you. We are grateful for every guest, every opportunity to improve, and every chance to grow together.

We won’t always be perfect, but our commitment to caring for you will never change.

From our family to yours, it’s love, always…

Kevin Kelley

a little 2000s nostalgia as celina jaitly and bhumika chawla share a moment at an event

Very satisfied to have achieved an all-time personal record of 170 reps with 24kg 10-minute Snatch at the All-American Kettlebell Open yesterday.🎉

I’ve been wanting this goal for six years, after hitting 169 three separate times in online competitions in 2020 and being unable to surpass it since.😒

Well, I’ve failed many times in this sport over the past two decades, from quitting mid-set on the platform to missing the bell during a hand switch at a World Championship…. And more.

Reaching a certain threshold rep range, say 130 reps with the 24kg or consistently completing the full 10 minutes, ⏰ is no easy task.

Then comes the challenge of maintaining that capacity as you get older and finding a way to do a little more.

It’s an art as much as a skill. #thisis61
