Enough with dragging Akshaye Khanna into the spotlight whenever this film needs a talking point. It is definitely not the first time in the whole History of Bollywood or Indian Cinema that an Actor quit a film before the shooting even began!!
The repeated public criticism looks petty and shameful! Praising your film does not require belittling an actor who is no longer a part of it. Headlines attacking him say nothing about the strength of your screenplay or performances. More than your film's collection you seem to be interested in personally targetting Akshaye Sir and his career.
For nearly ten months, Akshaye Sir has maintained a truly dignified silence that speaks volumes of his own personal class & confidence. Do not confuse his refusal to trade accusations with permission to keep taking shots at him. One side speaking louder does not make its version the whole truth.
His talent and his contribution to Drishyam 2 deserves utmost respect. Audiences remember what he brought to the screen; dismissive remarks cannot erase audience memory!!!
If you are confident in your film, let it earn its own attention. Promote your work. Stop making his Exit the selling point. What a shame this is on your entire Team!
