TNHT: Kyle.Anfernee (@Kyle.Anfernee) Neighbors, A family is dealing with heartbreak as they prepare to bury their two young sons. Authorities say the bodies of Elijah Khalil Hawkins, 5, and Kashh Kendrell Williams, 3, were recovered from a pond on Saturday. The discovery followed reports that the children went missing after leaving their Daytona Beach home. Police Chief Jakari Young said investigators believe the deaths were accidental and that there is no indication of foul play. Young said their mother fed the children Saturday afternoon before lying down for a brief nap. When she woke up, both boys — along with the family dog — had managed to slip outside of the apartment. He said quote “She woke up approximately 15 minutes later, and the kids, as well as the family dog, had gotten out of the apartment. She does have a child safety lock on the door, so apparently, they figured out how to navigate that child safety lock, and they exited the apartment.” Surveillance video obtained by police shows the two boys running near the pond before entering the water. Their mother is seen on the video coming outside moments later. While Young believes the deaths were accidental, he said the question of whether the mother will face criminal charges remains unanswered. Young said the department has turned its entire case over to the State Attorney’s Office, which has the authority to make that determination. A GoFundMe has launched in memory of the boys and to support their family. More than $10,000 has been raised.  If you’d like to donate click the link in the bio.
@lindacardellini has lived many lives. Audiences first came to love Cardellini as Lindsay Weir, the naive, army-jacket-clad teen in ‘Freaks and Geeks.’ Then came Judy Hale, the toxic yet endearing widow in ‘Dead to Me,’ and Carol Love-Smernitch, the no-nonsense presence in ‘DTF St. Louis,’ a role that recently earned her an Emmy. In fact, there hasn’t been a time in the last few decades when the actress hasn’t given us someone to remember. But her upcoming role in ‘Crystal Lake,’ @peacock’s highly anticipated ‘Friday the 13th’ prequel series, is unlike any other she’s ever had. She’ll play Pamela Voorhees, the franchise’s original female slasher—and an appealing protagonist for the lifelong horror fan to take on. Being able to “dive into this character who is touched upon but makes such a huge impression was a fun idea,” the actress tells ELLE. “She’s obviously not right in the head.” Ahead of the ‘Crystal Lake’ premiere tomorrow, Cardellini sat down with @clairemilch to talk about Pamela Voorhees, her days on ‘Freaks and Geeks,’ the legacy of her iconic ’90s and ’00s roles, and more.
