10 months on estrogen!! :) ...and its been pretty amazing so far! The changes have definitely been noticable, in a lot ways haha. For one, my chest has been super sore and tender pretty much nonstop since starting HRT. Sore and tender and sensitive and itchy lol, and growing pretty rapidly. The emotional changes of course also started right away - lots of things make me cry now haha, and not just sad things but also happy things. In general I find I just come to tears easier. Even if I can stop myself from actually crying, I still feel the tears well up in stressful situations, or when I watch a sad video. Another change is the fat redistribution, which usually takes a while to see the full effects, and particularly in the past month or so I think Ive noticed it a bit more. In my hips and butt I see it the most, but also lately I think my face is getting a bit plumper and more feminine as well 😊 I've been trying to eat more the past few month so maybe thats been helping too lol. Mentally I think the biggest change has been my mood. I've said it before, but seeing myself in the mirror now just fills me with so much euphoria, even when I'm not in makeup. Compared to before where seeing myself in the mirror always had a feeling of underlying panic. Its a very real and very tangible change that leaves no doubt in my mind that I made the right decision - now I just wish I had figured it all out sooner. Seeing my old self in pictures I always get a pit in my stomach now haha, like somehow I'm gonna wake up and it'll all have been a dream... Anyway, thanks for reading if you're still here! Most folks seem pretty interested in the effects of HRT so I thought it'd be fun to rant about it a little bit 😁 If you read all this and still have questions, feel free to shoot me a DM and I may respond (or may not lol). 💂 The Princess Royal attended a rededication of The Guards Memorial at Horse Guards in London to commemorate 100 years since the memorial was unveiled. The memorial stands today to commemorate the First World War and Second World War and the 14,600 men who never came home.
