Who would’ve thought that a girl from a tiny town in Alberta would end up in a place like Smallville? ❤️ Playing Lois Lane changed my life forever, in ways I never could have imagined. I’m forever grateful for the friendships, the memories, the laughter, and the incredible creative journey that came with being part of something so special. 25 years later, the love for this show and the people who made it possible still means the world to me. @goughalfred @miles_millar @tomwelling @mskristinlkreuk @themichaelrosenbaum @lauravandervoort @thejohnglover Happy 25th Anniversary, Smallville! 💫 Love always, Erica ❤️ #Smallville #Smallville25 #LoisLane #ForeverGrateful
Tonight, Los Angeles City Hall shines in the colors of the Philippine flag in honor of Filipino American History Month! 🇵🇭 A beautiful tribute to the history, heritage, and contributions of Filipino Americans who continue to shape our city and our nation. Proud to see our community and culture recognized in the heart of Los Angeles. Mabuhay! #FilipinoAmericanHistoryMonth #FAHM #SoCalFilipinos #FilipinoAmerican #LosAngeles
In the first attempt of this “redesign” I realized that all I did was put Frieren in an outfit, but not in one that reflected her as a character at all. Instead of trying to replace her everyday outfit (which a lot of people speculate was chosen for her by either Himmel or Heiter) my goal with these newer and I admit, rougher designs, was to create an outfit that she might choose for herself after this current journey is over. In this scenario, some time has passed and I would like to think that Frieren has become even more sentimental and her clothing would reflect that. Whether that would be colors that remind her of Himmel, or a pleated dress that reminds her of Fern, her new ensembles would be a testament to the lives of her beloved friends. These might not be perfect but, I think these designs are a step in the right direction. I hope you guys can learn from my mistake and remember to design clothing for your characters that reflect who they are not what you want to see!! Let me know which designs you guys prefer! Ps. I found out they aren’t stripes they are fastenings on her shirt🫠🫠 #frieren #characterdesign #anime #costumeredesign #characterdesigner
Nobody really knows what they’re doing when they first begin. You try something, get it wrong, learn a little, and try again. Eventually, you get better. You become more certain of yourself, or at least better at figuring things out as you go. It is a strange thing to grow into a person you once only imagined becoming. Actors spend so much of their lives working toward a future version of themselves that they rarely consider what happens when they finally meet that person. For #RabinAngeles (@rabinangeles_), #AngelaMuji (@angela_muji), and #ZekePolina (@zeke_polina), there’s no final cut to becoming. With the fresh release of their loved online series, the three has since marked another chapter in the work of finding their footing, confronting their innermost questions, and growing into their craft. For Zeke, Angela, and Rabin, the road towards becoming actors they want to become has never been a straightforward progression from wanting something to finally having it. Their experiences have taken them through checks and balances, moments of reprieve, and different beginnings. Yet, for The Breakthrough Issue, in their conversation about “Dating Alys Perez” and what’s next in their slate, it is about three young artists learning to live with who they are while making room for who they have yet to become. Discovered @thedesignerhype.tdh at Fairmont Jaipur and loved every bit of it. Having my picks delivered straight to my room to try at my own pace? Shopping really doesn’t get better than this.
