Sometimes, a place just makes you want to slow down and take it all in. Lago di Braies was one of those places 🤍

We left early, like everyone tells you to, hoping to beat the crowds. It had rained the entire drive, and honestly, we weren't sure what to expect. But just before we arrived, the sky cleared completely.

We stood by the lake for a while, taking in the mountains, the water and how quickly the weather had changed. It was one of those moments where you don't really need to do anything other than enjoy where you are.

And we ended up staying longer than planned. Once the sun moved behind the mountain peaks, the light on the water changed completely. That soft shimmer made the lake even more beautiful. ☀️

A little reminder that mountain weather can change in minutes, so don't let a rainy forecast put you off. And if you visit Lago di Braies, give yourself some time to enjoy it beyond the first viewpoint 😉
