✨Friday Feature: Randi
@randi_hibbard Through agriculture, FFA, and 4-H, I have gained experience in many different areas of the industry. I show cattle and help at home with our cow-calf operation and horse breeding. I also work at a family friend’s bull sale in February, where I help with the cattle and the work involved in preparing for the sale.
Through FFA, I participate in public speaking, livestock judging, meat judging, agronomy, dairy handling, and horse judging. These activities have helped me become more confident, improve my communication skills, and develop a better understanding of different areas of agriculture. I enjoy learning how to evaluate livestock, understand crops and agricultural practices, and work with different types of animals.
Through 4-H, I show my steers and heifer, which has taught me responsibility, patience, and dedication. Caring for and preparing my animals for shows has helped me understand the importance of consistency, hard work, and attention to detail. Overall, my experiences in FFA, 4-H, and at home have given me a strong passion for agriculture and a desire to continue learning and gaining experience in the industry.
