Dude to maintain the upi ecosystem i.e banks, npci, payment service providers there is a lot of capex around more than 20,000 cr. In FY 24-25 the government provided about 8730 cr in incentive support for upi/Rupay, specifically to help the offset the zero mdr economics. Even at 0.4% MDR it won't be enough to cover the 20000 cr. With 0.4% only they can make around 13k- 14k cr a year which won't be enough. The rest of the amt government has to spend. Since 2020 upi was free for everyone. Now the merchant has to pay. Wht is wrong in that cuz to maintain infrastructure the merchant has to spend again. Study something in detail and then post the reel 😂
