The Trump administration is preparing a $2.8B package for Israel: 20,000 MK-84s, 20,000 BLU-117s, and 20,000 penetrator warheads. The deal is set to be financed mainly through Foreign Military AID, US grant money that Israel then spends on American weapons.
Biden paused these bombs over civilian casualty concerns. Trump lifted the pause.
Israel will also get more advanced weapons that Washington never shared with anyone.
During a Sept. 5 meeting at the Kremlin, Trump administration envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff met with Putin to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
Putin reportedly told the U.S. envoys that Russian forces would capture the entire Donbas region within months.
Kushner challenged Putin over the repeated prediction, saying:
“With all due respect, you told us exactly that a year ago. What are the chances we come back here in another year and you are again saying the same thing? Maybe we don’t lose a year?”
