Good morning from Goat!
And a glimpse at RAGER.
Ichiro Irie’s @ichiroirieart More Equal Than Equal holds court on the property: thirteen Burro Brand sawhorses transformed into a towering, windmill-like structure, with a plush pink pig presiding over it all.
The title and imagery nod to George Orwell’s Animal Farm and its promise of equality. Irie turns that reference into something wonderfully strange, part monument, part absurdist contraption, part political punchline.
Whimsical at first glance, More Equal Than Equal gets a little less funny the longer you look at it.
Goat will be open Sunday, September 20 from 2-5pm. Can’t make it then? Reach out to schedule an appointment.
