They always play like they're in competiton and not having a silly little casual match with their wife, and then get pissy when you bring the same energy and do shit like tell their commander to fuck off 5 times. I genuinely don't enjoy playing anymore because they suck the fun out of the game

If it makes you feel any better, the first and only game I played of Dungeons & Dragons, I had a little donkey that accompanied me on my travels and the DM threatened to kill him so I spent all of my money on giving him metal armor and the DM electrocuted him instead 😭

You'll eventually get strong enough to beat him. Yesterday I beat my partner by making him draw 105 cards. He had no answers.

Instant protection spells are INCREDIBLY USEFUL!!! (Things that give indestructible and or hex proof to your creatures are always nice to hold onto, if you want true revenge then make an inspirit flagship vessel artifacts death with a bunch of equipment that gives hexproof/shroud and or indestructible)
