My piece “Something Worth Fighting For” of the most inspiring man I’ve ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of got into the Shirley Hannan Portrait Prize! Not gonna lie seeing my name amongst some of Aus’s most incredible realist is insane to me. I wanted to showcase his incredible use of music as a weapon to fighting back. If I had a dollar for everytime I cried to ‘Let the Franklin Flow’… I’d have so many dollars… so many. I’ve been in awe of his work since I was 17 so getting to work on this piece was a dream for me.
