We are glad to share the participation of Roberto Maria Lino to F-LUX. Art’s Fluid Space Art, Fluid Dynamics and Transformation in Dialogue in Singapore

Curated by Nadia Stefanel

Group Exhibition: 7–14 October 2026, The Arts House, Singapore

Inspired by Heraclitus’ concept of Panta Rei – “everything flows” – the project considers flow as a principle through which to interpret a reality in constant transformation. Movement, energy, turbulence, pressure and viscosity become shared elements of both fluid dynamics and artistic practice.
Lines, vortices, layers, vibrations and colour turn the artworks into fields of forces, suspended between order and chaos, control and unpredictability. This exploration of movement echoes throughout art history, from Van Gogh and Futurism to Pollock and contemporary digital practices.
The connection with Formula 1 adds a further dimension. In the aerodynamics of a racing car, the management of airflow and vortices is essential to performance: a dynamic system that is constantly changing, much like Heraclitus’ river.
The exhibition continues the programme developed by the Dino Zoli Foundation together with DZeAsia and DZ Engineering during the Singapore Grand Prix, following projects dedicated to light, Artificial Intelligence and quantum science.
Through painting, installation and digital practices, the artists explore three interconnected elements – water, air and time – asking how art can make perceptible what, by its very nature, can never be completely fixed.
F-LUX is an exhibition about movement and becoming, the fragile balance between form and transformation, and the continuous flow that runs through matter, energy, time and our experience of the world.
