« Mostly Slow Tunes » is my first solo guitar album, released in 2025. These songs remind me, for no specific reason, of the persons who are close to me.

Each tune is a tribute to a different person.

This is a bit of Only the Lonely dedicated to @vincent_bourgeyx. (Check out the beautiful versions by Frank Sinatra and Shirley Horne)

Vincent is one of the most swinging pianists on this side of the Atlantic. You should all check out his latest record «Life Letters » with Darryl Hall and Greg Hutchinson. I’ve known Vincent for many years and we recorded together for my 5th album « Last Night When We Were Young ». He is darkly funny, extravagantly kind and a hopeless romantic. Great musician, good friend.
