Time: ±2h for the 2 km circuit.
When: early/late — there’s little shade.
Price: €40/adult; hours vary seasonally.
Entrances: Pile, Ploče & St. John’s Fortress.

🏖️ SVETI JAKOV BEACH
Access: ±160 steps down… and back up!
Bring: water shoes — it’s pebbly.
Getting there: walk, bus or taxi from Old Town.
When: later = more sun + gorgeous Dubrovnik/Lokrum views.

🧱 FORT LOVRIJENAC
Where: near Pile Gate, 37 m above the sea.
Inside: courtyard + Chapel of St Lawrence.
Look up: the entrance inscription means “Freedom is not sold for all the gold in the world.”

🏛️ RECTOR’S PALACE
Price: €15/adult or €20 for 10 museums / 7 days.
Crowds: check live visitor numbers online.
Bonus: free multimedia guide inside.

🦚 LOKRUM ISLAND
Price: €30/adult = reserve entry + return ferry from Old Port.
Tickets: available online in advance.
Important: check your date’s last return boat — schedules change seasonally.

🤍 OLD TOWN & STRADUN
Getting around: pedestrian-only.
Free water: refill at Large Onofrio’s Fountain.
Food: Stradun can be pricey — try the side streets/outside the walls for better value.
Morning: Gundulić Square market.
Staying here? Taxis can’t reach your door, so expect to carry luggage from the gate — possibly up stairs.
