One of the most fascinating stops in our trip and a real treasure was this museum: Os Teixois is an ethnographic complex working collection of historic water-powered machinery, including a traditional iron forge, a flour mill, a sharpening wheel, a fulling mill , and a small hydroelectric generator that dates back to the 18th century in an excellent state of preservation and remains fully operational, serving as a site open to visitors. It was so educating to see pre-industrialization technology working and imagine how groundbreaking it was and how quickly it became so obsolete. It was really incredible to watch those things functioning. The guide was so clear and allowed us to understand the whole process. And the whole place is very beautiful too.
