Thinking a lot about Carmen lately.
Photo back in 2018, that year was dance.
So wholesome to look at that photo and see "wow, I did that" ♥️ by @mimimihella

The day @meiaponta and I experienced our own ballerina project ❤️ @carollancelloti by @mimimihella

This week has been the 10th year since I moved to Bremen. It was supposed to be 10 months, yet here we are. This has been quite an emblematic time and those 10 years brought so much change, so many experiences and so many wonderful people into my life. Time flies. by @mimimihella

Lugo, our last stop during this vaycay was in Galícia. Lucus Augusti was a Roman military camp. This place is famous for its fully intact Roman city walls completely surrounding the old town, you can walk on top for it's 2km. It was also the warmest spot during our stay in Spain, and also a treasure of museums, a very cool archeological site and the provincial museum that is massive and has free entrance. Really enjoyable destination :) by @mimimihella

The previous two museums we visited during our short stay in Taramundi. A little village in the mountains in n Asturias, it is famous for their pocket knives artesanal manufacture. In the archeological center of the city we found out this place was already a hotspot for knives in the iron age. The accent was pretty awkward too, a mixture between galician and asturian. We visited a smith that made a pocket knive in 30 minutes, it was really awesome. We also saw tons of loaded apple trees (this trip I understood why the asturians drink so much apple cider). Cool town. by @mimimihella

More of us in random museums. A mill museum turned out to be much more interesting than it sounds. Highlight to the experience of milling wheat by hand in ancient mill models. by @mimimihella

One of the most fascinating stops in our trip and a real treasure was this museum: Os Teixois is an ethnographic complex working collection of historic water-powered machinery, including a traditional iron forge, a flour mill, a sharpening wheel, a fulling mill , and a small hydroelectric generator that dates back to the 18th century in an excellent state of preservation and remains fully operational, serving as a site open to visitors. It was so educating to see pre-industrialization technology working and imagine how groundbreaking it was and how quickly it became so obsolete. It was really incredible to watch those things functioning. The guide was so clear and allowed us to understand the whole process. And the whole place is very beautiful too. by @mimimihella

Ribadeo, Castropol y Puerto de Vega (and an etnographic Museum) by @mimimihella

Asturias is not a massive touristic destination and gods forbid I'm advertising it too much and changing that but this place... My favourite stop in our Asturian Tour. We were there for sunset and in the morning before the sunlight was even touching the beach. We spent the night in Novellana, a 10min drive from this beach. by @mimimihella

We drove to Cabo Vidio to have a look at the view from the cliffs, but once I looked down Playa de Peñadoria, I had this intrinsic urge to just go down and touch the sea, these photos aren't fair to real life. So down we went 800m zigzag until the beach and the sea was just so wonderful I wanted to throw myself at it, a swim wasn't planned, so I undressed completely to an almost desert beach and surrendered to the sea that was so loudly calling me. We went up again to walk until the tip of the peninsula and we were surprised by charming grazing goats. Such a fond memory of this place. I wanted to make photos with my phone but I couldn't find it in my purse, I thought I had just left it in the car. Two hours later, when we got back, Felix noticed my phone wasn't there, we called and it , a very lovely Asturian lady who found it on the parking lot floor answered. She message some of my friends on Instagram, so if you got one of her messages, you now know the context and reason. Saved by the kindness of strangers. Thank you so much Mar, you're awesome 💛🌻 It was a perfect day. by @mimimihella

Wednesdays first stop was the fishing village Cudillero, we arrived by the end of lunch time (restaurants close at 16h) so we went straight for lunch. Zamburiñas , papas, local squid in its ink and fried fish.. it was so delicious and we went for a walk and it was super cute ❤️ after a couple of hours we headed next to see a beautiful beach and a lighthouse. by @mimimihella
