UTK Anthropology

Join us for the Anthropology Visiting Lecture Series on Wednesday, September 23, 3:30–5:00 PM in AAB 111! Dr. Andrés León from the University of Delaware will present “The War Never Ended: Central America and the Ghosts of Counterinsurgency, from the Cold War to the War on Crime,” exploring how the legacies of Cold War counterinsurgency continue to shape contemporary violence, political conflict, and state responses to crime in Central America. A reception will follow the lecture. We hope to see you there!
