T.N. Tate

Last night was a full-circle moment. 🧡

My eldest @thevibequeen co-hosted a CBC reception @urbangardenbrewing featuring Florida State Rep. Angie Nixon, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate.

Watching my daughter- an African American woman brewer and owner of D.C.’s first Black woman-owned brick-and-mortar brewery - stand beside another Black woman making history?

Phenomenal woman. Phenomenally. 📢

And the kicker? Some of the organizers were longtime political friends of mine who didn’t even know she was my daughter.

That’s legacy.
That’s the work.
That’s Tateness at its finest. 🧡

Proud mama. Always.✊🏾
