STORY TIME✍🏽 I ran away from home at just 10 years old. I lived on the streets and slept in abandoned trap houses. The streets raised me, and by the grace of God, I survived them. At 10 years old, I was already working. I got a job in sales at the Slauson Swap Meet, selling toys, socks, T-shirts, and hoodies. I made $100–$150 a week. I was their top sales girl, and my boss would give me an extra $10–$20 a week because of how well I did. I also worked part-time as a maid. With the money I earned, I eventually got my first little apartment. It was one big room in South Central Los Angeles, but it was mine, and I never looked back. No rich parents, no handouts, no investors. Just a little girl with big dreams who refused to give up. Fast forward to this photo. That’s me surrounded by my orders & shipping labels of my health and beauty brand, @thisfitsme, This Fits Me™. Over the years, my loyal customers have become family. They’ve supported me, believed in my brand, and grown with me. I never take that loyalty for granted, and I always make sure they know how much they mean to me. Sometimes I look at what I’ve built and think about that little girl who didn’t even know where she was going to sleep. I wish I could tell her what was coming. I’ve built multimillion-dollar businesses, invested in real estate and other tangible assets, and created opportunities I once couldn’t have imagined. And trust me, it hasn’t been easy. I’ve had setbacks, made mistakes, and had to figure things out along the way. But I never lost my faith. Every setback taught me something.
