Our amazing Transformational Scholars are out here doing AMAZING things in Wilson, North Carolina, during our We Teach Weekend Trip! ❤️🐺
Friday 📚🏫
✨ Visited James Hunt High School
✨ Visited John W. Jones Elementary School
✨ Had the amazing opportunity to interact with students and teachers
✨ Observed classrooms and learned more about how education operates in Wilson County
Saturday 🤝🏽❤️
✨ Had the opportunity to give back to the Wilson community by partnering with Waymakers of North Carolina
✨ Helped fill blessing boxes with essential resources for community members
✨ Worked in their warehouse and supported their efforts to serve families in need
This weekend was filled with learning, service, community, and meaningful experiences that reminded us of the impact we can make as future educators. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn, serve, and grow together! ❤️📚
