As a Latina entrepreneur for over 27 years, one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is this: NEVER STOP LEARNING.
Especially from people who have built successful businesses of their own.
No matter how much experience you have in your field, stay humble enough to know there is always something to learn — even from people in completely different industries. Different perspectives can teach you things you never would have discovered on your own.
Yesterday, I invested in myself. Because the one person you should never stop believing in is YOU.
This was
@jrjimenezre and
@carlosreyes first conference created for Latinos who want more out of what they’ve already built — and I have to say, days like this make me incredibly proud to be Hispanic/Latina.
So many of us are first-generation Mexican-Americans, Latino-Americans, or immigrants who have worked incredibly hard to get where we are today. We watched our parents build, sacrifice, work, and persevere. That example deserves to continue through us as we raise our own families, build businesses, and create generational wealth.
It’s not about keeping up with the Joneses.
It’s about leaving a legacy.
Leaving this earth better than we found it. Building while helping others build. Because true wealth isn’t just becoming wealthy yourself — it’s creating opportunities for others to rise with you.
Our businesses feed families. They create relationships and communities. They give us the opportunity to serve others, strengthen our faith, and build something that can live beyond us.
I’m truly grateful for this experience and still taking it all in. I only wish I had taken more pictures with all the incredible people I met. So much inspiration in one room. 🤍
And note to self: next conference, eat breakfast first. 😂 I was expecting that breakfast buffet and was definitely not operating at 100%.
