This is paramedical tattooing and the image is being shared with my client’s permission to show the work and the difference 3D areola and nipple tattooing can make.
My beautiful client carries the BRCA gene and made the deeply personal decision to undergo a bilateral mastectomy as a preventative measure.
After multiple surgeries and a long journey of reconstruction and healing, she came to me for her 3D areola and nipple tattoo.
For many women, this can be so much more than “just a tattoo”.
It can be the final piece of a long surgical journey — helping restore the appearance of the breast, create the illusion of dimension, and, most importantly, help a woman feel a little more like herself again.
It was an absolute privilege to be trusted with this part of her journey. ❤️
