Oh my goodness, thank you so much Chicago. Thank you all for every kind message, every cheer out there, and for carrying me all the way to the finish.

Thank you Andrew for making sure I was prepared and confident and leaving the marathon more excited than I was before.

Thank you @calebjkerr for doing literally all of the thinking for 20 miles. I know we anticipated being able to work in more of a pack so doing all of the thinking and all of the work… I know that’s not easy and you made it look effortless.

Thank you to all of my family and Matthew who made the journey. Matthew was the loudest individual out there, and I’m not sure anyone else’s family managed to get an entire bridge worth of people chanting.

Thank you to the entire @chimarathon and all of the volunteers! Because of you all’s hard work, I’m able to chase my dreams! Looking out over the start/finish area while I was eating breakfast and seeing hundreds of volunteers heading out was so inspiring, and I’m so grateful.

I came away feeling both thrilled and hungry to come back and see what more is there. But if the marathon is about who had the most fun… I think I won.🤭

BUILD > DESTROY

If your ‘For You’ page is as deranged as mine is, you might have come across these strange videos…

Think: impossible visual architecture. Moving buildings, spinning furniture, infinite staircases, walls and floors which crumble before our very eyes…

The kids are calling it EUCLIDEAN HORROR!

What does that actually mean?

Well, “Euclid” was an ancient Greek mathematician. He is best known as the ‘father of geometry’. Around 300BC, he wrote a treatise called ‘Elements’ — basically, a really old maths textbook which has lots of the mathematical rules we still use today.

So, ‘Euclidean horror’ is to do with GEOMETRY. For a space or a thing or an image to be ‘non-EUCLIDEAN’ it has to subvert or transgress the ordinary laws of geometry.

So, with that in mind — what examples of Euclidean Horror can you think of in cinema, art, video games, and other media? 🤔🤔

I’m doing horror-themed videos until Halloween! 🎃🎃

We feel like Nicole

Not everyone communicates with words, but everyone deserves to feel welcome, included and part of racing. 🫂

This weekend, Leopardstown’s Racing For All weekend is all about making racing more accessible and welcoming for everyone. There will be facilities available for individuals and families with additional needs, offering a place to take a break, reset and enjoy the day at their own pace.

Because racing is for all. 🐴💜
