Impermanence isn’t about losing something, it’s about capturing a moment before it changes.
Six weeks ago, these wildflowers were blooming in the park. In nature, their beauty is fleeting. But with six weeks of intentional, methodical drying, time slowed down, preserving a slice of that temporary beauty to live on in my next painting.
In a fast-paced world that demands immediate results, there’s immense value in slow, deliberate processes. Some creations simply can’t be rushed; they require time to transform.
