LJ Realties Responds to Vandalism and Property Damage at Its Offices MONTRÉAL, QC | October 30, 2026 — LJ Realties is responding to a serious incident that occurred at its offices on Friday afternoon, when a large group of individuals entered the premises and caused extensive property damage. According to preliminary information, approximately 50 individuals were involved in the incident, during which windows and glass fixtures were broken and the office on Charlevoix sustained significant damage. The group, who referred to themselves as le Tribunal d’Abolition des Loyers (TAL), scattered notes and flyers throughout the office with their manifesto: “Notice D’éviction: Noue sommes dans l’obligation de bous announcer devoir procéder à votre eviction prennant effet… immédiatement. Vous êtes accusé.e.s d’être complice d’un système injuste que s’enrichit en abusant et en exploitant les besoins vitaux des millions de personnes. Notre sanction: évincer les évinceurs.” Police have been contacted, and security camera footage documenting the incident has been preserved. « We are deeply disturbed by what took place at our offices this afternoon, » said LJ Aguinaga of LJ Realties. « Our immediate priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, who were intimidated by a group of individuals that stormed our offices. We are cooperating with police and will provide any information necessary to assist their investigation. » LJ Realties strongly condemns acts of violence, intimidation, and destruction of property. The company remains committed to the safety of its employees, clients, and the broader community. Further information will be shared as details are confirmed.
