Every user deserves real support, not copy-paste replies. My personal Instagram account, @ibrahimburakcetinkaya, remains locked. Password reset emails arrive, but the separate code needed to unlock my account never reaches my inbox, even when Instagram says it has been sent. The recovery screen offers no alternative to email verification. Watch the video on the final slide: the first code arrives and is accepted. Then Instagram asks for another code. This is the step I have repeatedly been unable to complete. I sent screen recordings and explained the difference. Yet I received password reset instructions and messages closing my support cases. Support has now said it will route my case to another team. I welcome that step, but I’m still waiting for a working solution. Since my first post, dozens of people have contacted me describing similar problems. These reports deserve a technical investigation. Meta: have your engineers investigate these recovery failures. Provide a working way to verify account ownership and restore access. I’m ready to verify my identity through an official, secure process. A closed ticket is not a solved problem. Have you experienced this too? Share your experience in the comments without posting private account details. Share this post and help bring these reports to the attention of Meta’s leadership, consumer protection authorities, and journalists. Every user deserves a recovery process that works. @meta @instagram @mosseri @zuck @thejusticedept @agrobbonta @accessnow @efforg @bbcnews @wired İbrahim Burak Çetinkaya

We’ve been working on something special — and it’s finally time to share it with you! In their first-ever safari off Sesame Street, Elmo and friends travelled all the way to Nairobi to meet Elmo’s adopted elephant and the rest of our Nursery herd. SESAME STREET AND THE GREAT ELEPHANT ADVENTURE premieres tonight, 14 October, at 8/7c on PBS. @sesamestreet first aired in 1969, just a few years before the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was established. For more than five decades, the beloved television series has been a guiding light for generations, all from one familiar street. It was an honour to host Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Nina on their once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa. We hope you enjoy watching the episode as much as we enjoyed creating it. (And no one loved it more than the elephants — they were absolutely enchanted by their new Muppet friends!) Thank you to @sesameworkshop, @pbsnature, @pbs, and @pbskids for bringing this extraordinary experience to life. We feel sure it will spark curiosity in young viewers and inspire families to explore the natural world together. — How to watch SESAME STREET AND THE GREAT ELEPHANT ADVENTURE: The episode premieres tonight, October 14, at 8/7c on PBS. Wherever you are in the world, whenever you have the opportunity, you can also watch the full episode on YouTube and streaming platforms — we’ve gathered viewing options here: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/news/updates/sesame-street (link in stories) — Photos © 2026 Sesame Workshop
