In the Disney movie Hercules (1997), the part of “Hades” was actually designed with Jack Nicholson in mind for the voice from the start, with animators actually drawing concept art of the character designed to resemble Nicholson in hopes he would accept the part . The two in pencil were drawn by John Musker, one of the directors of the movie along with Ron Clements. The one in red was drawn by Gerald Scarfe. Berlin Marathon 2026 . Came in with a goal of 3:10:57, which I thought was very achievable. Finished with a time of 3:39:01. (Should have run 2 seconds faster) . I seem to be making a lot of the same mistakes: holding on to pace for a bit too long when my body is telling me otherwise, wearing a bit too much clothes for the weather conditions, focusing too much on a single element of fueling (270g carbs consumed, 0mg salt). I had to do a lot of walk/jogging just to drag myself to the finish. It was tough. . I’ve never been all that good at race day execution, but now I seem to be getting worse. Part of me feels like I’m now done with trying to run marathons fast. I don’t know if I have it in me. . Part of me is wanting to head back to the drawing board to prepare for the next one. .
