Eddie is so adventurous, is a great hunter/sporting dog, and makes friends wherever he goes. He’s loving, affectionate and very loyal.
A few fun facts about the Shorkie breed- they are a cross between a Yorkshire terrier and a Shih Tzu. The terrier side is where they get the high prey drive. There isn’t a set standard for the Shorkie breed, so their size, temperament and appearance can vary a bit.

Shorkie isn’t a breed - it’s a mixed breed/mongrel - all dogs are special but people now cross breed with any pure breed and use that as an excuse to charge huge fees. Adopt don’t shop - there are enough dogs out there in rescue centres looking for a home and a second chance at life without even more puppies being bred.

I’ve had a Yorkie and 2 Schichons (the best dogs I could have asked for, so sweet and smart. I bet a Shorkie is a ton of fun! Now we have our Maltipoo and I’m wondering if he’d like a Shorkie friend 🤪
